1. Who We Are

Controller/Business: INSIGHT IGNITE DIGITAL MARKETING PRIVATE LIMITED

Primary region: Rajasthan, India

Contact (Privacy, Support, Security): support@wranker.com

Website: wranker.com

Important note for agency users: If you use Wranker on behalf of clients (white-label reporting, agency dashboards, etc.), you are responsible for providing your own privacy notices to your clients/end users where required.

2. Scope and Roles

2.1 When Wranker is a “Controller”

Wranker acts as a controller for personal data we collect and use for our own business purposes, such as:

  • Account creation and authentication.
  • Billing and subscription management.
  • Customer support.
  • Security and fraud prevention.
  • Website analytics and product improvement.
  • Marketing communications (where permitted).

2.2 When Wranker is a “Processor” (Service Provider)

When you connect your websites, analytics properties, or third-party integrations (like Google Search Console and GA4), Wranker processes data on your behalf to provide the Service. In those cases:

  • You/your organization typically determines what data is connected and why (you are the “controller” for that data).
  • Wranker processes that data to deliver the features you enable (we are the “processor/service provider”).

If you need formal processor terms (e.g., GDPR-style), you can request our DPA at support@wranker.com (or publish it as a webpage later).

3. What Personal Data We Collect

We collect personal data in the following ways:

3.1 Information You Provide to Us

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

  • Account details (name, email address, password). Passwords are stored in a protected form (e.g., hashed) where applicable and are not readable by our support team.
  • Organization/workspace information (company name, workspace name, team members, role/permissions).
  • Billing details (billing contact name/email, billing address if provided, invoice details, transaction status). Payment card details are typically handled by our payment processor (if used) rather than stored by us.
  • Support communications (messages you send, emails, chat messages, attachments, screenshots, recordings, and troubleshooting details).
  • Content you enter into the platform such as projects, domains, URLs, tasks, notes, content drafts, SEO recommendations you save, and report configurations.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website or use the Service, we may automatically collect:

  • Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, language, referral URL, pages/screens viewed, time spent, clickstream events, and log files.
  • Approximate location derived from IP address (typically at city/region level).
  • Security signals such as login timestamps, failed login attempts, and session metadata.
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7 and our Cookie Policy).

3.3 Data from Integrations (e.g., Google Search Console / GA4)

If you connect third-party integrations, we process the data you authorize us to access to provide the Service, for example:

  • Search Console data (e.g., site performance metrics, queries, pages, clicks, impressions, CTR, position—depending on what Google provides and what you authorize).
  • Analytics data (GA4) (e.g., traffic, events, page/screen performance, acquisition metrics—depending on your configuration and Google permissions).
  • Other connected sources (if added later), based on the permissions you grant.

You control whether you connect integrations and which accounts/properties you connect. You can revoke access at any time (see Section 10).

  • Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement, customer support).
  • Consent (where required, e.g., certain cookies or certain marketing communications).
  • Legal obligations (tax, compliance, responding to lawful requests).

6. Google API / OAuth Data Handling

Wranker may allow you to connect Google services (such as Google Search Console and Google Analytics) using OAuth authorization.

When you connect Google services:

  • You authorize access. You grant Wranker permission to access specific Google data scopes you approve.
  • Minimum necessary access. We aim to request only the permissions needed to provide the features you choose.
  • Use limited to providing the Service. We use Google user data to provide and maintain user-facing features in Wranker (e.g., dashboards, reports, audits, exports) and as described in this Privacy Policy and in-product notices.
  • No ad targeting / no data brokering. We do not use Google user data for ad targeting, and we do not sell Google user data to data brokers or advertising platforms.

Tokens and Access

If you authorize Google access, we may store access tokens/refresh tokens (or equivalent credentials) securely so that the Service can continue to retrieve data you request. You can revoke access at any time (see Section 10).
