Summary
Wranker projects are the foundation for audits, dashboards, and reporting. On first login (after email verification), the dashboard triggers the Create Project flow automatically:
- Enter Project Name
- Enter Domain
- Select Country
- Confirm that a Site Audit should run immediately
- You’re redirected to the Site Audit panel while the audit starts
Prerequisites
- You can sign in to your Wranker account.
- Your email address is verified (verification happens before the dashboard loads).
The Create Project modal opens automatically right after email verification when you land on the dashboard.

Step-by-step: Create your project and start the first Site Audit
Verify your email address
Complete the email verification step for your Wranker account. After verification, you’ll be taken to the dashboard.
Wait for the Create Project modal to appear
As soon as the dashboard loads, the Create Project modal opens automatically.

Enter the Project Name
In the Project Name field, enter a clear name you’ll recognize in the dashboard.
Enter the Domain
In the Domain field, enter the website domain you want to track and audit.
TipUse the main domain you want to audit and report on (the Site Audit will run against this domain once confirmed).
Select the Country
Choose the Country for this project. This helps Wranker align certain location-based SEO contexts where applicable.
Create the project
Click the modal’s primary action button to create your project.

Confirm running a Site Audit immediately
In the confirmation modal, confirm that a Site Audit should run right after creating the project.
Once confirmed, the Site Audit process starts automatically and you’ll be taken to the Site Audit panel.
Expected result
- Your project is created with the selected name, domain, and country.
- The Site Audit starts automatically right after you confirm.
- You are redirected to the Site Audit panel to view audit progress and results.
Tips and best practices
- Use a project name that matches the client/brand or website purpose so it’s easy to find later.
- Double-check the domain before confirming, since the Site Audit starts immediately after confirmation.
- Pick the correct country for your project to keep your SEO workflow consistent across reports and tools.
Troubleshooting
The Create Project modal did not appear on the dashboard
- Confirm your email verification completed successfully.
- If you still can’t access the create flow, contact support.
Site Audit didn’t start after confirmation
- Stay on the Site Audit panel for a moment to allow the process to begin.
- If the audit does not begin or the panel fails to load, contact support with your project name and domain.
